Its one of those square things that look like a bar code with all the little squares and rectangles inside. Below is an example of mine that when scanned with a QR reader (most smart phones have a QR reader program available) will redirect you to the home page of this blog.

What’s it used for?

It can be used as an offline marketing tool; e.g. on a business card, flyer, or any printed medium to allow your prospect to use a smart phone to scan the code and provide them with information about you or redirect them to a blog, website, or other online content. Its a simple tool you can use to promote yourself and your brand.
